SCAIME, Schneider Electric’s partner for weighing applications, exclusively presents the PME SWT weighing module. This module offers a measurement channel and can be directly installed on the new Ethernet backplane rack of the M580 or X80 RIO.
The PME SWT offers a high level of metrological performance for use in a wide variety of applications including dosing, filling, checkweighing, level measurement and flow control. It is designed for users requiring high precision of measurement, such as those in the agri-food, pharmaceutical or chemical industries. Furthermore, the PMESWT is suitable for use in dangerous areas.
The PMESWT weighing module can be very easily integrated into Schneider Electric’s M580 PLC and PlantStruxure architecture. Support for FTD / DTM technology makes it possible to configure the PMESWT very simply via the UNITY PRO software platform.
The PMESWT is equipped with two digital inputs and four digital outputs, enabling it to perform a number of tasks such as monitoring alert thresholds or dosage operations, in an entirely autonomous manner. As an optional extra, a touchscreen MMI, providing local display of weight and system calibration, can be connected directly via a dedicated port on the PMESWT.
This fully integrated weighing solution therefore offers the end user high added value in terms of performance, ease of implementation and maintenance.
