LIFTING, SAFETY |
| |
 |
Our systems designed to measure or control loads on lifting machinery are precise, reliable and designed to resist to the most difficult environments. We propose three types of solutions:
Load pin Load pins are installed to replace a traditional transmission spindle or shaft, and provide a very reliable means of measuring forces applied on the pin.
Tension-compression S type load cell This S type load cell is complementary to the load pin, and is distinguished by its ease of use and high precision.
Extensometer The extensometer must be fixed to the location of the maximum stress proportional to the force to be measured. We suggest Epsimetal, a miniature and repositionable extensometer, so that you can easily choose its optimum location.

Overload control with load pin
Measuring loads or controlling overloads on lifting equipment frequently requires the use of expensive equipment difficult to install. The load pin provides an excellent solution that limits these modifications, because it consists simply of replacing by an instrumented load pin: • an attachment pin • a pulley shaft • a lifting device
SCAIME load pins are used in load control for: cranes, pulley blocks, elevators, conveyors, winches, traveling cranes, vehicle structures, carriages and any other type of lifting equipment. They can be used in severe environmental conditions such as tropical environments, marine or port installations. |
