WEB TENSION MEASUREMENT

The measurement of the force applied on roll by the web allows to control and regulate its tension in order to ensure a better quality in production and avoid breakdowns, resulting in a reduction of manufacturing costs.
K2148 sensors allow an easy installation of the roll and put out a continuous signal of the force applied by the web on the roll.
The sensor analog signals make it easy to set up and regulate the web tension.

The design of the K2148 sensor allow to install directly on it the roll shaft bearing ; therefore one sensor at each extremity will allow to measure the force/strain applied on the web ( paper, textile etc..).

Its split ring system holding the roll, makes it easier to bring it out with its two bearings without removing the sensors , ensuring a simple and fast intervention during maintenance operations ..
