ON-BOARD LOAD MEASUREMENT

 
On-board load measurement

Scaime has developed complete measurement systems for on-board weighing and load control on vehicle. These systems based on strain measurement of vehicle structure are suitable for:

  • Farm trailers
  • Spreaders
  • Lifting, handling machines

These systems could provide continuous load measurement with an accuraccy up to 3% of total load.
 
 
  On-board weighing for fam trailer

SCAIME has developed a complete on-board system allowing to display the load in farm trailer (with ~3% accuracy) by measuring its structure deformation.

On-board weighing system
This system consists of:

  • An extensometer EPSI AX-V installed on each Axle and one on the trailer drawbar. These sensors allow the total weight measurement and the load balancing.
  • An indicator EPSILOAD with 4 measurement channels. This display can display the measurement of each sensor as well as channel sum with adjustable distribution.
  • 1 box for sensors connection to EPSILOAD indicator placed in the tractor
